Manchester United are ready to offer midfielder, Paul Pogba plus cash to Real Madrid for their star player, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Don Balon, Spanishain newspaper reports that Mourinho is willing to allow United’s most expensive player, Pogba leave this summer after an inconsistent season.

It claims that Mourinho is hoping to improve his attack ahead of next season and the Red Devils have stepped up their bid to sign the Portuguese captain.

United have already signed Fred and Diogo Dalot this summer and they are hoping to add Ronaldo after they finished second place behind rivals, Manchester City this season in the Premier League.

Recall that Ronaldo hinted after Real Madrid’s 3-1 win over Liverpool in the Champions League final that this could be his final season in the Spanish capital.

“It was very nice to be in Madrid,” Ronaldo told reporters.

“In the next few days I will give an answer to the fans.”

Meanwhile, according to Marca, Madrid have told Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes that they are unwilling to match the player’s demands.

Ronaldo will now look for a new club with England, France and Italy named as potential destinations.
