Kenya President and Deputy President to take 80% pay cut off their salary to help curb Coronavirus

The President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta has announced that himself and his deputy, Williams Ruto will take a 80% pay cut off from their salaries to help raise funds in the fight on how to curb the deadly Coronavirus.

Other government workers would also take some percentage taken off their income as the government comes all out to tackle the virus.

Some of the salaries cut off include, cabinet secretary 30%, principal secretary 20%.
