Police attempts to arrest man who went to fetch water for violating lockdown order in Owerri (video)

The level of harassment by some men of the Nigerian Police Force can not be overemphasized. With the lockdown and sit at home order given by the government, people still get harassed for going to fetch water that they would use in their home.

In a viral video, a man made exposing how his boy was followed by Police patrol team, Owerri Imo State unit. They attempted to arrest the young who went to fetch water using his boss’ Toyota Camry car as the water were fetched in a keg, so that they would be easy for him to carry home, only to be harassed and followed down into their compound.

The drama started when the owner of the car started doing a live video to expose them for following his boy he sent to fetch some water he would use, the policemen hurriedly started making their way out of the compound as other residents in the building came out booing them.

The man making the video lamented that this is what they have been facing in Owerri from the Nigerian Police Force over the years as they harass students and residents anyhow, his boy now said in the video that they even seized one of the keg of water he went to fetch.
