The people of the ancient city of Ibadan are not impressed with the efforts of one of their own elected figure when it comes to giving back to the needy in this desperate period of Covid-19.

Member, House of Representatives representing Ibadan North-East/South-East Federal Constituency, Hon. Abass Adigun (Agboworin) distributes food items to the needy on Saturday, 9th May, 2020, he distributed another set of food items to some constituency of Ibadan South-East local Government area.

In a 4th batch distribution of Covid-19 palliatives to some of his constituents, the Ibadan North-East/South-East lawmaker once again showed that he knows first hand the challenges of his people.

“Being in touch with my constituents, I know their struggles. I will continue to support them, as the nation grapples with the challenges of this pandemic” Hon. Abass Adigun Said.

Recall that the lawmaker Abass Adigun had since the outbreak of the coronavirus in Nigeria facilitated the distribution of preventive materials like hand gloves, nose covers, hand sanitizer, hand bills both in english and yoruba and food items across his federal constituency.

This 4th phase of distribution which is in furtherance to the federal representative’s commitment to the welfare of Ibadan North-East/South-East, include as always the distribution of food items today 9th May, 2020 at ward 1, 2, 3 in Ibadan South-East local Government area which other wards and distribution in Ibadan North-East local Government area follows.

But instead of getting certification for coming to the aids of people, Hon. Abass Adigun (Agboworin) is now a victim of social media attack as many believes he shouldn’t have publicise the palliatives shared to the vulnerable people especially as they claimed it won’t exceed two square meal for a family which means he should be doing more for the populace of the largest city in West Africa.
