I have Covid-19, I want to meet Pastor David Ibiyeomie – Man tells security in Port Harcourt

A young man was intercepted by the men of the Nigeria Legion today, Tuesday 19th May along Igwuruta-Rukpokwu road while enforcing the 24 hour curfew in Port Harcourt City and Obio Akpor Local Government Areas of Rivers State.

The young man who refused to mention his name, upon interrogation, said he has Covid 19 and want to meet the General Overseer of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyomeo for healing.

According to him, he has been having severe headache, difficulty with breathing, and sometimes feel restless.

The suspected patient who claimed that he was returning from Mbaise in Imo State where he stays with his mother, added that he believe his problem is spiritual and that is why he opted to meet Pastor Ibiyeomie.

Commander of the Rivers State Nigeria Legion Covid 19 team, Major Kelvin, said the suspected patient told his men that he has covid 19 and that was why his men held him back and immediately contacted the Rivers State Covid 19 emergency team, but wondered how the young man managed to beat all security check points to get to Rivers State.

Few minutes later, the emergency team arrived and took him away for testing and possible quarantine or treatment as the case may be.

Observation however showed that the suspected patient could have some mental problem as he was behaving strangely some point.
