Nigerian army suffers casualties as Boko Haram attacks it’s part team in Damboa, Borno

Although many of the terrorists, were said to have been killed as well, however, according to information released by the Army Headquaters on Wednesday, it was revealed that some of the gallant troops of 25 Task Force Bridgade lost their lives while on a fighting patrol in Damboa community of Borno state.

According to the Army Headquaters in a Tweet in Wednesday, said:

“JUST IN: Troops of 25 Task Force Brigade on fighting patrol came under BHT IED attack along Maiduguri -Damboa Road on 7 July 2020. Many terrorists were neutralized. Unfortunately, some gallant soldiers paid the supreme price. Reconnaissance and Reinforcements are ongoing”.

Inhabitants are please requested to provide information about injured/escaping BHTs who are hibernating in their localities, it added.

It will be recalled that as the Nigerian troops continues to sustain the offensive attacks against the dreaded Boko Haram terrorists, the gallant troops again recorded another round of success on Tuesday, as it repel an attack by some BokoHaram fighters who were trying to sneak into Monguno town, the hometown of Babagana Monguno, the National Security Adviser to President Buhari.
